Where is my data stored?
Your saved data is stored on this iPhone and never sent to a server. No account is required, and no data is collected.
What happens if I delete the app?
Because data is on-device, deleting the app deletes its data. Please create an encrypted backup for anything important.
How do I move to a new iPhone?
Export an encrypted backup, then import it on your new iPhone. Keep your backup password safe — it cannot be recovered if lost.
What if I forget my PIN?
If you forget your PIN, your saved data may be impossible to recover. PINs cannot be restored technically, and the developer cannot recover them either.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use “Restore Purchase” in Settings or the restore button on the paywall. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID.
Why do originals remain in Photos?
The App does not automatically delete originals. After confirming a successful save, delete them yourself.
Are private-camera photos saved to the Camera Roll?
No. Anything captured or scanned with the private camera or scanner is saved directly to KeyBox — never to the Camera Roll.
How do I create a backup?
Create an encrypted backup from Settings or the Safety Center. Set a password and save it to Files, iCloud Drive, or similar.
