Using the App
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) define the conditions for using KeyBox (the “App”).
By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Nature of the App
The App is an auxiliary tool for storing private information.
It provides features such as encrypted backup, but does not guarantee data recovery or preservation.
No guarantee
The App does not guarantee absolute safety or recoverability of your data.
We are not liable for any loss, damage, or deletion except where required by law.
PIN & passcode
If you forget your PIN or passcode, your saved data may be impossible to recover.
Recovery after a forgotten PIN may be technically impossible, and the developer cannot restore it either.
Risk of data loss
Because data is stored on-device, it may be lost in the following situations:
- Deleting the App
- Device failure, loss, or reset
- Moving to a new device without an encrypted backup
Backup responsibility
To keep important data safe, you are responsible for creating encrypted backups as needed.
Manage your backup password carefully. It cannot be recovered if lost.
Payments
Monthly and yearly subscriptions, as well as lifetime purchases, are bought through Apple’s App Store.
Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from your Apple ID settings. After cancellation, you can continue using the service until the end of the period.
A lifetime purchase lets you use the relevant features permanently with a single payment.
Prohibited actions
The following actions are prohibited when using the App:
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
- Acts that infringe the rights of others
- Acts that compromise the App’s security or constitute unauthorized access
- Using the App for criminal purposes or to harm others
Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is,” without any warranty, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability.
We are not liable for damages arising from the use of the App, except where required by law.
Changes to the Terms
These Terms may be changed as needed. By continuing to use the App after changes, you agree to the revised Terms.
